Mars Radiative Transfer Topical Web

Overview

While the theory of radiative transfer (RT) is not strictly a function of the environment through which the light propagates (as long as the application is valid), the number of details and nuances associated with the application -- the so-called "Radiative Processes -- are such functions. A general overview of RT for solar and infrared radiation, along with the associated important radiative processes may be found in this chapter adaptation from the upcoming book "Mars Atmosphere and Climate".
